Our Practice

Labor and employment law are complex areas of practice. Our attorneys work closely with employees and unions.  Our practice is devoted to advising employees of their rights.  We advise employees of their rights under the California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the California Family Rights Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act, the Brown Act, and the Public Records Act, among others.

We can assist you with the legal hurdles of forming a union. Unionizing can be a complicated and challenging process. We are here to help.

We offer an affordable legal services to unions. We also negotiate collective bargaining agreements, attend board and membership meetings, enforce collective bargaining agreements, file and process grievances and disciplinary appeals, and represent employees in Skelly hearings.

We represent public sector employees in arbitrations and in state and federal court. We handle cases involving whistleblower complaints, discrimination, harassment, disability rights, and wage and hour violations.

We represent public sector employees in administrative hearings.  We have experience handling Skelly Hearings, civil services hearings, hearings before the State Personnel Board, the Merit System Protections Board, the Public Employment Relations Board, various personnel commissions, and other administrative bodies.
